The Northeastern California Small Business Development Center – Greater Sacramento /Greater Sierra

Now Offering Online Courses

                                   

Sacramento, CA – January 2011 -  Northeastern California (NE CA) Small Business Development Center (SBDC) –Greater Sacramento/Greater Sierra is pleased to announce it now has a program that makes it easy for you to take high-quality, noncredit online courses no matter where you are located. Through a partnership with ed2go, NE CA SBDC –Greater Sacramento/Greater Sierra offers hundreds of courses on just about every topic.

Through well-crafted lessons, expert online instruction, and interaction with fellow students, you’ll gain valuable knowledge at your convenience. You’ll have the flexibility to study at your own pace combined with enough structure and support to complete the course. The courses can be accessed 24/7 from anywhere with an Internet connection.

New sessions of each six-week online courses start monthly, with two lessons released weekly (for a total of 12). Each high-quality course includes comprehensive lessons, quizzes, assignments, and a discussion area. Dedicated instructors facilitate every course; pacing learners, answering questions, giving feedback, and facilitating discussions. 

Popular course titles include: Business Management, Grant Writing, Computer Applications, Creating Web Pages, Accounting Fundamentals, Health Care, Speed Spanish, Medical Terminology, and Real Estate Investing. New courses are introduced monthly, so there’s surely something to fit your needs.

SBDC consulting services include, but are not limited to; assisting small businesses with cash flow, break-even, cost control, tax planning, loan packaging, public relations, e-commerce, business plans, bookkeeping procedures, accounting, marketing, feasibilities studies, international trade and procurement.  All consulting services are confidential and provided by professional consultants with expertise in their specific area of interest at no cost to you.
